    Does anybody use Tor

    to protect their privacy online, and is it worth doing? What's the performance hit?

    I've used it before. Performance was pretty bad. I've heard using polipo over privoxy can help with that, though I haven't tried it.

    I use tor mostly to just access pandora radio in canada
