postscript printing in emacs doesn't work
I installed emacs 22.2.1 (specifically according to the emacs help menu: 2010-3-26 on rothera, modified by Ubuntu) on my Ubuntu 9.10.
Every time I select the File menu 'Postscript Print Buffer' I get the following message:
The messages window shows this:Symbol's function definition is void: ps-header-footer-string
Has anyone else experienced this problem? I have been thinking of uninstalling Emacs and re-installing it if I can't get it to work. We have the same version installed on a Debian server and this works OK.Loading /usr/local/share/emacs/22.2/site-lisp/ps-print.el (source)...done
Formatting... 0%
Loading ps-mule...done
ps-mule-begin-job: Symbol's function definition is void: ps-header-footer-string
Thanks
