Muting Audio in MPlayer
Hello,
I was just wondering if it was possible to mute the audio for a file being run in MPlayer from the console when it launches.
e.g. mplayer (option to mute audio) -zoom -x 1024 -y 768 (file path)
I tried using man mplayer, but am confused... it had some option like -dxr2 <mute> but it didn't work.
Thanks

Try mplayer -ao null. That will use the bitbucket for audio output.
