I've been going over once again the files needed to run this app, and the website says that the only file needed is the one i mentioned on the previous post. Now, i came to the conclusion that maybe the installer needed to know where that x thing was installed so that it could be installed with it. Kinda like telling the limewire installer where jsk bin directory is so that the installer gets there. This may not be so, but i am pretty sure i installed the other correctly, following the instructions on the site. Another thing could be that i downloaded the wrong file for my distro, right? Help guys, i can't wait any longer to start managing my music!!!

Here's the link i've used so far: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/unix.php
