    Installing Kile On Suse11.3

    Hi guys

    Im a newbie to linux so please excuse me. I am in desperate need of installing Kile but the rpm i've downloaded refuses to work. The error is "An internal system error has occured". Im using the "Install/Remove software" to install it. I do not have YAST. What do I do?

    Yast is definitiely the best and easiest way to instal Kile or any other software. How can you not have Yast if you've installed opensuse 11.3?

    Try zypper

    Hi, perhaps you can try zypper.

    zypper se kile --> to search for kile

    zypper in kile --> if found, install kile

    Of course might need root permissions.
