squirrel mail in redhat 8

Hi, I would like help on how to deploy and configure squirrelmail in my linux box.

Assuming you have Squirrelmail installed, then you should be able to do this:

http://www.squirrelmail.org (Lot's of good stuff here)

The easiest way is to use the PERL script called "conf.pl" You can also edit the config_default.php manually if you wish.

You can find it in this path.

/usr/share/squirrelmail/config

./config.pl

Follow the menu steps

You will probably have to enable your IMAP port too.

vi /etc/xinet.d/imap

Should be "disable=no"

Restart xinetd

/etc/init.d/xinetd restart



After these things are done, then it should be as easy as this. (Make sure you are secure!)
