    How to play mp3's and movies on linpus linux?

    Hi, am posting on behalf of a m8 who has a linpus linux system, when he clicks to play an mp3 or movie it says haven't got demuxa plug ins? I have downloaded what he needs but have no idea how to get it all to work!! have sussed you need to write in the terminal but nothing happening!! can anyone help on this? thanks

    Linpus is based on the now ancient Fedora 8. If you install mplayer or VLC from the rpmfusion repos, they should be able to play mp3s and most movie formats.

    I would personally install something better than Linpus on the machine, which pretty much is anything else at all.
