uninstalling fedora 8?
My friend has fedora 8 on linpus linux, he wants to upgrade to fedora 14, where do you uninstall fedora 8? there doesn't seem to be a remove program area in the system? we have fedora 14 burnt to disc, how do you open it using the terminal? any help greatly apreciated!!! thanks

Linpus Linux is based on Fedora 8, but isn't itself Fedora 8.
That said, you don't really uninstall an operating system. If your friend wants to install Fedora, part of the process will be formatting the harddrive, which will effectively wipe everything off it, and then installing the new system to the drive.
You also don't open the disc from a terminal. You need to set your BIOS to boot from the CD.
