Hi and welcome to the forum.
Right click on the device icon and select "safely remove". Its pretty much the same way that GNOME, Windows and other modern desktops manage removable devices.

If you want to eject pen drive from your computer, There are Bottom right side one device icon available. Right click on the Icon than click on "Safely Remove". than you can eject your pen drive from computer.
