I don't know about Solaris, but there are KDE and Gnome tools for Linux that will do that. They may also work for Solaris, assuming you are running a reasonably recent version of KDE or Gnome on Solaris. There is also lm-sensors (or lmsensors) which monitor system sensors, and a number of tools that interface with that to get/display such information. I would suggest that you pay a visit to the user forums on the Oracle Solaris web site for more information specific for Solaris.
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
