    Putty won't display curses lines correctly in Unicode


    Hi all,

    I'm wondering why this happens when I set Unicode in putty :
    imgur. com/VKeGi
    I see letters instead of the drawing characters

    I tried all options in "handling of line drawing characters" ... nothing works as long as "translation" is set to "UTF-8"

    If I switch back to latin, it works... kind of

    I want my accents though


    Any ideas? Is that a server-thing to configure?
    I'm running OpenSuse 11.4
