    Really sorry to keep asking all these questions, but is there another file i need to edit to configure linx? i edit lynx.cfg and sure enough the ignore all cookies option isn't turned on, and it wont go to my proxy(which works fine in windows). thanks

    is it linx? or is it lynx?

    I have lynx installed on mine, but linx might be something different.
