whenever i try to run apt-get i get this error:
"Segmentation fault"
and it sasy nothing else, it doesnt even load, just goes strait the the erorr...

what would help would be which distro you use, your kernel version, how you installed apt, etc

Also could you tell us what you did prior to getting a segfault running apt. And has apt worked before?
