    network application

HI all!! This is my question. I am the super user of a network, and I want to know if the rest of the people in each computer are working or are in social networks or in websites they shouldn't be.

So I want to know if there is a program in Linux to know what the other computers are doing in the net.

    Thank you very much!!

FWIW, my company, one of the largest in the world, does not spy on their employees. In fact, they are encouraged to interact with social networking sites, as long as they control the time they spend there, so that they are "ambassadors" for the company. It doesn't take long for a person's productivity decline to indicate they are spending too much time on non-productive things. We have regular goals, and using an agile process, everyone in a team meets once a day for 15 minutes to go over what they did the day before, and what issues they are having problems with. This helps keep such social activities to a controllable level. So, don't try to stop such activities - just make sure that people are goal-oriented and are meeting their mutually accepted work goals.
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.

I agree with you in that employees sometimes in social network it is ok. But not only I want to control if a employee is the full working day in social networks (which won't increase productivity) also I want to know if they have surfed porn sites, or sending emails or chatting with the competence, in which case I would like to know the contents of the emails. So that is why I want such application.

    Thank you very much!!
