What programs are there that are good for viewing ISO images ?
I remember from my windows days that i used to use daemom tools.
Is there any similar for linux ( debian ).
I tried furiuosisomuont, it auto mounts the image to your homefolder etc.

Fellow newbie here. Try both home folders. There is the one that is the REAL home folder then the one that is your user folder that is also labeled home when you open it. Another thing you might try is viewing hidden files either in the top bar or press ctrl+h. If Either of those works let me know, I need a virtual drive program as well.

Hi there fellow newbie

I'm not sure what you mean with the home folders.
Mayby you think of symlinks ?
Well any way i don't have any such to my home folder, i only have hardlinks.
and i didn't see any hidden files either. i just dont know if that would be wise by the program to append a .prefix to the files from the ISO image.
I didn't know about the ctrl+h option. I usually look for hidden files by ls -ali from the shell.
welcome to the forum Hanlon by the way and thanks for you input...
I will let you know if i stumble upon or find one virtual drive like program that works good for ISO and other images...
