What is the host OS (distribution + version + kernel), and which version of VBox are you running? I have been running VBox on both Linux and Windows hosts for over 4 years without seeing this error, and I run many different operating systems in VMs including QNX, Solaris, Linux, BSD, FreeDOS, and Windows.
Also, is your host 32-bit, or 64-bit? And have you enabled the virtualization extensions in the BIOS (if available)? And what is the guest OS?Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.

I beleave i may have fixed it. I rememberd earlyer i had installed an expansion pack, so i hunted it down and removed it and now its working fine. Not sure why the expansion pack didnt work, but it didnt. Maybe wrong version?
