    Problem with LFTP


    I am trying sync a local folder with remote ftp folder using LFTP, but hes give a error:
    "Fatal error: Certificate verification: certificate common name doesn't match requested host name"

    I am newbie in lftp and I lost hours trying resolve this problem, maybe someone can help....

    I can connect; but any command return this error;

    are you sure this problem is unique to the lftp client? i.e., have you tried regular ftp?

    to what FTP server are you connecting to? does it require certificates to connect?

    what is your client and server OS?

    yes, only lftp i get this error, with normal ftp works normally;;

    what kind of ftp server is it to which you are connecting? can you view the ftp log file on the server? can you show the exact command you are running (with private parts obscured)?
