pdf viewer w/ file monitoring (watch)

is there a pdf file viewer that can monitor (watch) a pdf file and update it when it sees the file has changed? it should stay at the same page and keep the same settings and location, of course, but the pdf view should be updated to reflect the latest version.

(this is for use as a pdflatex previewer.)

    pointers appreciated.

first of all I would like to ask you a question that are you looking for software or A code?

If you are looking for software then I guess Document viewer(I use it in ubuntu) would do your work.
Its like if you are at page 10 of the pdf , close it and when you open it again it starts showing from 10th page only instead of from beginning.

    Hope it helps you.

    cheers.
