    Skype help needed (wooshing sound in mic)

    Hi everyone, I dual boot Windows 7 and Debian on my laptop and desktop. When I'm in Debian, people who I talk to on Skype complain that there's a "wooshing" sound in my mic, like I'm talking in a wind tunnel. The same wooshing sound doesn't happen when I'm in Windows. Has anyone had an experience with this? I can assume it's not hardware related since it works fine in Windows. Thanks!
