Whats happening to Open SUSE 12.1??

I have an issue about you tube. When I first upgraded to 12.1, i realized that the you tube video keeps buffering more than it used to do with the 11.4 version.

I need to re-listen to my recorded talks (on MP3 format) but it seems that 12.1 CANNOT play any of them. I could play them on 11.4 previously! Whats happening?? SO I thought I better get me a Flash Player installed. I did that, but still my MP3 talks still cannot be played. So I uninstalled the FPlayer via the YAST. Guess what happened!.....when I wanted to view a you tube video, I could NOT do it!!!! I tried several other you tube titles. Result.... no video came out.

I am on HP mini 2133 - if that info can be of any help.

Pls help me with these 2 issues.

    Thanks.

You need to setup your installation to play Restricted Formats.

    Thanks for your response.
I visited the 'restricted Formats" suggested and went through the related page. May be due to my tech incompetency, I could not solve the issue via the link you suggested.
Perhaps a bit of guidance is what I need from you.
    Thanks again.

Depending on whether you have gnome or kde, click on the appropriate link that ends in .ymp as this is a one click installer package.
