Stop Motion Capture (smcapture)
Hello.
I am trying to run (or install) a program called 'stop motion capture' *http*://sourceforge.net/projects/smcapture/
(sorry for the *http*)
I execute the 'smc. jar' and it asks me to 'please select the folder, where you saved the program files'
I do so, but the only thing that happens are that several files disappear (program.jar, SMC, smc.jar nd so on) or at least, that is what happens in that folder, if the program really installs itself somewhere, it doesn't show it in any way.
Please help me out, as I really need this program for a stop motion video.
I use Kubuntu.
I drink a lot of coffee.

I have figured out that I used version 0.6, which is not the current version, probably some kind of development version, so, I downloaded 0.4 and plugged in a camera, that should be supported and can be choosen in the 'select a camera' list.
The program starts, or, the yellow 'logo' turns up, but then the program dies.
please help me.
Lars
