    You won't find one that everybody agrees is "the best", but I've always had good luck with bluefish, and with simple text editors such as gedit, kwrite, and vi.

    Thanks for your advice.

    Bluefish is on Ubuntu 12.04 repo.

    I found following tutorials;

    Introduction to bluefish 2.0 - YouTube

    Introduction to Bluefish 2.2.0
    Introduction to Bluefish 2.2.0 - YouTube

    They are quite interesting. I'll try Bluefish

    Hi oz and all,

    Where can I find a tutorial for Bluefish? Googling found me several threads but on youtube. Thanks

    Do I need installing 'Tidy' to use Bluefish. I found;
    How to install and to configure Bluefish 2.0.1 to use HTML Tidy? How to use HTML Tidy with Bluefish 2.0.1?
    How to use HTML Tidy within Bluefish 2.0.1

    Regards

    I've only ever used the Bluefish Wiki and Manual:

    Bluefish Wiki

    Manual 2 ToC - Bluefish Wiki

    ...but I've never used Tidy so am unfamiliar with it.
