Question Inventory + help desk system ?

    Hi,

I am working in small company (~100 employees) and I am looking for an opensource solution that will help us to get the inventory list (no problem to update the cmdb OR the DB manually) and a ticket system.

The objective is to allow every one to open a ticket and choose from the CMDB/DB the equipment (printer, screen ...etc) with a problem and the help desk will take care of it.

I don't know if such a solution exists. I know that there is many other solutions like HP OpenView but they are expensive and not adapted for small companies.

    Thanks

    Hi

For inventory i use OCS inventory
    OCS Inventory NG | Home
And for helpdesk you could use GLPI wich can be tied with OCS:
GLPI - Gestionnaire libre de parc informatique

    Good luck
