    GRUB- The occaisonal Error 21



    Hello,
    every now and then when i start up my computer i get the infamous GRUB Error 21.
    Thing is, i dont get it EVERY time and fix it by booting up with the boot disk and then restarting my computer and everything seems to be fine and grub loads perfectly.
    it seems to happen only when i leave my computer off for a long period of time.
    Any ideas on why this happens and how i can fix it?

    comon... somebody? anybody?

    anyways, it only happens when i boot into windwos then shut down and reboot, ill get the Error 21
