    no there's usually a file called configure.log in the source directory...
    but can you do (as root) a:
    Code:
    find / -iname xine -xdev 2>/dev/null
    and post the output here?

    Hi, I have the same problems with installation of Kaffeine on Mandriva 2007. after intstallation of xine-lib-1.0.2 I added a line "/usr/local/lib" in /etc/ld.so.conf but the problem didn't disapear.
    PHP Code:
    checking for Xinerama extension... yes
    checking
    for xine-lib... no

    -----------------------------------------
    ERRORCould not find xine-lib >= 1.0.2.
    -----------------------------------------

    configureerrorcould not find xine-lib
    How can I solve this?
