OK this is a very thick question but i am a (very) newbie
Right i have installed Mandrake 9.1 and i downloaded Ogle the DVD player i have run the rpms and they all seem installed ok.
Now what?? where are the files located to run. I dont even know where they are stored.

Once again, I would like to quote vous:
Dear ucc,
on this memorable occassion in which you will begin the journey that will lead you to complete Linux experience, I invoke the powers of the mighty penguin to be bestowed upon you, the strength of the sea to lift you up when you fall, and the assurance from Apollo that just as the sun comes out triumphantly every morning in the horizons for all of us to see, so will you.
Courage brave one!

Try 'rpm -qa | grep scum'. This should list all packages that have the string 'scum'.

why are you installing a .src package and not an i386.rpm?
you would need to compile that .src file into a regular rpm, would you not?
try the regular i386.rpm instead
see my guide for a lot of info and the difference between those files on my software page specifically

It seems that you have the eyes of a hawk, yowwww! How long did it take you to spot that it was a source RPM?
