    Multuipart zip archive

    Hello,

    I have the following problem:

A zip archive of about 150G is split into 100M parts. I needed to open this in linux. It was generated on windows with the latest version of winrar. The problem is that after attempting to open the archive in linux, it got corrupted and now I can't open it.

Trying to fix the archive on windows with winrar gives an "Unkown method in" error from time to time. All solutions I came acros in 3 days of internet search have failed me.

Could anyone with more experience in this stuff have any hints for me? They would be really appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Sebastian

    Let's do the math here:

    150,000 MB / 100MB = 1500 parts. That means 1500 separate downloads.

The chances are, that a file of that size with that many parts was probably corrupted to begin with, or, to put it a little differently, the chances of doing 1500 downloads and *not* having a few rotten ones is very far fetched indeed.
