Firefox vs ie
Guys i have something intresting to point out; i am using firefox 1.0 and IE 5 on suse 9.2 and IE is faster to start up even in wine.
I cannot explain this phenomenon . Looks like it doesn't matter if IE is preloaded on windows it will still start up faster the firefox. Does anyone have a way to explain this.

Most likely all the holes in IE make it lighter and thus faster to bring up.

its because IE is integrated into explorer itself. therefore, when you run IE, half of it is already loaded into memory. :P
