    Command for Directory Access

    I downloaded the Mozilla Package and tried to install it. I went in and created the default directory but I still don't have access to install the package. What is the command to gain access to the folder? As you can probably tell I am new to linux and I am using Mandrake 10.1. Any advice is appreciated.

    open a termional window and type:
    Code:
    su
    then enter the roots password.
    then type:
    Code:
    chmod 7777 <full directory path>
    then type exit
    that's it!
