    Installation went wrong

I accidently installed an application to ./folder
The application said it could only be installed in an existence folder, but I'm not able to find the installation.

EDIT: I used the "find" to find the installation directory, which resulted to be non existing.
Then I just installed in the users directory.

    hi,

so did installing to the users directory solve your problem for you? Please provide adequate details, too, if necessary.
