Where can I find the uniq utility?

    Hi all,
I need to install the uniq utility (used in processing text files).
My problem is that my Linux box(Ubuntu 12) is offline so I can't use apt-get do download, I must use windows then sneaker-net to my box. My problem is that I cannot find the uniq utility anywhere! Yes I've Googled -and then some. I just can't find a repository that carries this program.
I am doing some natural language processing so I need this.
    Thank you kindly

If you are referring to the 'uniq' command as explained at the link examples below, it should be in /usr/bin/ by default. If you are looking for something else, ??
