do you mean somthing like windows synchronising option?i don't think that wget will do that...

wget does it all. Just check out the man page for the specifics like omitting certain extensions, throttling your bandwidth (be nice to the servers
), setting the maximum depth, etc.

i'll try later...how much time does it take to download a site when using sdsl (384kbps) like kde-look.org (big one!)??
