    sg driver - 'requeue command'

    Hello,

We use the sg Linux driver SG_IO ioctl to write blocks and filemarks with a LTO5 tape drive using SCSI over FC plumbing. It works fine, although we sometimes receive the error code :

HostStatus : 0xd = Requeue command (no immediate retry) also without decrementing the retry count

    DriverStatus : 0x0 = No error

If we retry the command 1 second later, it works fine, and the whole operation is OK.

Nevertheless, we would like to understand the in-deep meaning of this error code, and the origin of this problem, especially if it is external to the driver itself.

    Any idea ?

    Thanks a lot in advance.
