    How does RGSYNC work


    I have backed up my whole system, Linux mint 16 64 bit, to a thumb drive with Grsync , my question is , if my system collapses how do I get the copy off of the thumb drive back onto the hard drive(how do I restore my system

    Grsync, not Rgsync, is a gui front-end for rsync. I'm assuming Rgsync is a typo.

    To restore, basically, you just reverse the sync direction. Google "using rsync to restore backup" and that will get you some good pages with more detail.
