    Question conky on Ubuntu


    hi i'm trying to install and configure conky on my ubuntu 13.10 64 bit laptop..i found instructions on how to install and configure it, but when i go to turn it on i get an error message:

    Conky: missing text block in configuration; exiting
    ***** Imlib2 Developer Warning ***** :
    This program is calling the Imlib call:

    imlib_context_free();

    With the parameter:

    context

    being NULL. Please fix your program.


    i checked and i have the latest version of conky...what did i do wrong, or what am i missing?

    solved

    thankyou for your help it turns out that i had put the .conkyrc file in the wrong place....i had put it in /home/james instead of just /home
