    installing phpmyadmin on opensuse 13.1 -

    installed apache on opensuse 13.1

    it woks - Apache runs well.

    btw - wanted to install the phpmyadmin - did this via software - addition
    and activated and enabled the mysql-db - which seems to be a synonym to mariadb.

    but unfortunatley i cannot see http://localhost/phpMyAdmin/

    but again: localhost works very very well

    guess that this is only a minor bug

    i will have a closer look - perhapyi find the issues

    if so i come back and report the findings.

    Did you use the opensuse site below to install? What happens when you enter in your web browser: http://localhost/phpMyAdmin? Warnings, error messages?

    SDB:LAMP setup - openSUSE

    If access is denied it may be a permissions problem. Also, if there is not index.php file it is looking for that could be it. Did you create an info.php file?

    Code:
    <?php phpinfo(); ?>
    Put the above code in a text file and save it to the directory where your apache index.html file is then try to open it in your browser. I've only used PHPMyAdmin once and it's been years so I don't know what else to suggest.
