Any other apps for porting photos from android?

Okay I have a question, I need some alternative to shotwell here as I find its porting of images from android via usb a pain as there are so many subfolders to go into.
Is there some way to make shotwell behave a little better or some other app I can install?
I just get annoyed by shotwells import methods.
I just used shotwell as it seemed to work with photo impoirting the best from android
And no airdroid is not an option, its not compatible with one of my devices, I need a all in one solution.

If you don't mind lots of KDE libraries and extra software being installed then Digikam is probably the most fully featured image manager I have used. Personally, I just import my images using Thunar and organise them using geeqie which is at the opposite end of the spectrum.

Exactly what are you trying to do? Just transfer files, view them first, or what?
