Google chrome isn't maximised on start

    Hi all
Only a small issue but a surprisingly annoying one - when I start chromium it is almost full screen but not quite, I always have to maximize it.
Just to clarify I'm not talking about Chrome's full screen mode, just maximizing the window.
    I'm on Mint 17 xfce.
    Any help much appreciated

I would find it incredibly annoying if it did maximize on open. It should either open at same setting it was closed at or a reasonable default size. On my Xbuntu it reopens to size it was when it closed and in same position.
