    Help Install unCenta on Ubuntu

    Hello World!

It's been a while since I posted back here.

Me and the wife is going into the bakery business and was looking for aPOS that can help us in our operations.

So I consulted a friend. (The one who introduced me to Linux) and after some suggestions I am now interested to give uniCenta a try.

    After downloading, I got these:

    /home/grace/Desktop/POS/Bonus
    /home/grace/Desktop/POS/lib
    /home/grace/Desktop/POS/licensing
    /home/grace/Desktop/POS/locales
    /home/grace/Desktop/POS/__MACOSX
    /home/grace/Desktop/POS/Release Notes
    /home/grace/Desktop/POS/reports
    /home/grace/Desktop/POS/configure.bat
    /home/grace/Desktop/POS/configure.sh
    /home/grace/Desktop/POS/README
    /home/grace/Desktop/POS/start.bat
    /home/grace/Desktop/POS/start.sh
    /home/grace/Desktop/POS/uniCenta_logo_500_222.png
    /home/grace/Desktop/POS/unicentaopos.ico
    /home/grace/Desktop/POS/unicentaopos.jar
    /home/grace/Desktop/POS/unicentaopos.png
    /home/grace/Desktop/POS/uniCenta_splash_dark.png
    /home/grace/Desktop/POS/Window.Logo.png
Now this is the problem. I don't know how to proceed from here.I want to give it a try in my Ubuntu machine (trusty) before exploring the possibility of buying a cashier machine and installing both in our humble bakery.

    Thank you very much, regards.

navigate to the folder, then open a terminal window there (or vice versa). strart with
    Code:
    cat README
after reading, chances are you already know much more. my guess is:
    Code:
    ./configure.sh
    and follow instructions.
    then
    Code:
    ./start.sh
it might be necessary to make these files executable first with
    Code:
    chmod +x *.sh
