Can a Raspberry Pi be configged to become a X server?

....as in, there'll be a big machine and a RPi thin client? So I can run X remotely?

    Thanks.

No. I want to ssh FROM the Rpi to the (heavy duty) machine, and run commands on it, which will DISPLAY on the Pi.

Me personally, I've never SEEN a RPi up close, but I wanna know....
