    Google Chrome won't open after update

    Using Debian Wheezy.
    I did an update today and now google-chrome won't start. I reinstalled, but didn't help. I found a couple of files in ~/.config/google-chrome; don't know if they mean anything but are in dark red. In mc there is a ! in front. Does this mean a broken link?

    lrwxrwxrwx 1 joe joe 15 Oct 7 17:57 SingletonLock -> crunchbang-4035

    Appreciate help in resolving this.

    Thanks

    I decided to reinstall google-chrome. That didn't help, so I deleted ~/.config/google-chrome/Default. I copied Bookmarks from a backup and started google-chrome, and things seem ok. I just get a message that my profile won't open. How would I fix that?

    Ignore it. I've been getting that for a few updates and it seems harmless. Bugs have been filed, no fix yet AFAIK.
