An fserver is a bot that you can connect to and tell it to send you files

Oh. Well, in that case, how would X-chat differ from any other IRC client? IRC is a pretty standardized protocol, after all.

you see I was thinking that but when i tried to use X-CHAT it is like i am downloading from a xdcc and not a dcc bot i don't get why
You see when i had windows I used Mirc then when I put in the trigger for the bot it would bring another window to brows the files and put in the commands to get the files BUT with x-chat I get thing that asks me if I want to accept after I click accept it says I'm downloading but after that I don't get the windows to brows files
