    transmission files

I was downloading an album torrent with Transmission. I found out several hours in how to uncheck half the songs that I didnt want. But even though they stopped downloading those 5 songs the speed of the download
really didnt increase any. It stayed at 50kB and took a long time to finish.
Why didnt it increase at least some??

    Why would it increase?
At 50k, there were probably only a couple of people seeding that album.
The more seeders there are, the faster it will go.
You should read up on how torrents work.
