i was just wondering because mozilla always freezes the download and konqueror doesnt ever continue after its stalled..so im looking for something to dl large files...

if it's an ftp, you can use gftp - that will allow you to continue as well, but your mozilla should not be freezing, mine never does

That yowwww said, or you can use "wget".
if your download somehow get dropped, you can continue the download with "wget -c"
There are wuch more features in wget. Just type "man wget"
