Yea, there are a several but the one that I can think of is Xcdroast. I don't know if it's supported these days but there's another called gtoaster. How you will get these depends on your distro or you can always compile from source but I'd recommend staying away from that until you get familiar with Linux.
Man page is a manual page. It describes everything you need to know regarding something. For example, 'man ls' will give you the manual page for the command ls. It might be hard to read if you are new to Linux but as you go down the road, man pages become your best friend.The best things in life are free.

I haven't used any of the GUI based tools nor have I even used cdrecord (well at least in Linux) but I suggest you read the howto pages at www.tldp.org before you try anything. They talk about some important issues about TAO, DAO and how a one to one copy can only works in different programs.
