I have a program that uses the VESA framebuffer, is it possible to run this program from X somehow? I need to use VNC to be able to control it remotely.

Most programs that use VESA that I've seen don't bother using X for the most part, they just switch the video mode to VESA while running, fullscreen.

yeah but the thing is that i need to control the application remotely.. is there another way to do it without using vnc or? since vnc only works with x as far as i know
