adding new global man pages
Hi,
Could anyone tell me how to add new global man pages?
I have installed a new app which has around 60 man pages - but it does not add them to the man path during installation.
I can add them locally to my login like this:
export MANPATH=$MANPATH:/usr/local/GMT/man/
But this is not permanent (i.e. I have to add it to my login file)
How do I add a folder of man pages that are universally available to all users, at all times, like "cd" and "tar"?
Many thanks for any help.
