    firefox bookmarks


    I would like to import the bookmarks I had from my firefox on Windows to the one I'm using on Mandrake. Does anybody know where the bookmarks are saved on firefox? Any help appreciated, thanks.

    The easiest way to do this would be to go into firefox on windows and export them, it exports them as a HTML file, then put it on a disk that windows and linux can both see, and open up firefox in windows. Choose to inport from the file menu again, and point it at the html file.

    oh, btw, the import and export for the bookmarks is in the bookmark manager

    Search in Windows for a file called bookmarks.html. Then copy it over in Mandrake. That's how I did it on my XandrOS.
