Mandrake 9.1 - 4 weeks now.............

heres another re: GTkam..........first I found that it does indeed support the Jamcam cheapie camera I bought, thats the good part. I started the app, went to add my camera and the battery was dead, clicked on the configure a few times and then said, "OK" i will get a battery Friday................

But.........

There are now "5" icons on my desktop for "Gtkam".............tried to delete them and "access denied, insufficient permissions".............Hmmmmmmmm, logged in as root via terminal and tried to delete / change permissions etc..........could not. Then went searching for this "users" desktop settings in user/apps/Kdesktop/etc..etc.....figuring I could delete these from there, similar to Windows..............well I deleted them there, but low and behold still on the desktop, now when I try and delete I am told the "file / directory" does not exist...........Argh.............

Still there after desktop "refresh" and logging out and back in..........

Any ideas????.........
