starting an x application through ssh
Hi. I want to remotely start up songs with xmms through ssh. I can't do it, however, because xmms tries to start the program up in pts/04 or whatever I'm on instead of :0 (the x session). Any ideas?

I have one computer hooked up to the big speakers. I want to play through those. And yes, I know it might be easier just to go to the computer and play them, but I would like to know how to do this.

Thanks. That worked out great.
However, I would still like to know if there is a way to choose which terminal to run a program on (for instance, if I'm on tty1 and I want to run something on tty3, or even :0).
